Energy Work Session, Peace. February 9th, 2023.
I feel at peace and much more relaxed after my energy session today.
I’ll update with more information here when I’m able. However if you want to read more, you can visit https://www.mantrakc.com/readings to get some information about what Joan provides through Mantra, located in Blue Springs, MO. I’ll also find and attach a business card when I’m able.
I also plan to work again with Sacred Roots Holistic Healing, their Independence, MO, location. I feel seeing the providers I have recently, as well as incorporating energy work and massage therapy, will only benefit my present and future. I’ve gone to Sacred Roots Holistic Healing for several years now, and also highly recommend them. Their website and information can be found here https://www.srhealing.com/. I’ll also edit this post and attach a copy of their business card, when able.
Hope everyone finds that element in their life that helps bring them some peace, comfort, relaxation, and joy. Life is hard enough as it is, we should do our best to care for ourselves, so when we want to be there for others our ‘bucket’ is full, not empty.
Self care… It may be challenging to do, we all get busy with what pulls us in multiple directions, however I encourage you to remember to show yourself love and grace, forgiveness, compassion, patience. To speak with kindness when you have inner and outer negative thoughts and words, and try to see the positive and hope, even if it feels like it’s in the distance.
I’ve been waiting for that right moment to give an update about my life. Honestly, it’s been really hard. The last several years have felt like a broken, out of control roller coaster, that has no breaks, and is about to plummet down, off the tracks, into a brick wall, that has knives, spikes, and other unimaginable elements that can’t be seen. And that once you finally hit that wall the momentum that follows you is going to come crashing into you upon impact. That moment of impact for me was last fall. I’ve been recovering ever since then. Life is hard, and what experiences we have either can break us or help us grow as a person. It’s what we are open to, that growth, that learning lesson, what we take out of what life gives us, that is what shapes us into who we will become. Do we resist or do we accept and move with the current?
So I challenge you today to do one thing that gives you self-care. Time to yourself, something you enjoy, not just a chore or task that needs completing, but one thing (be it a moment or an hour), just for you. Put on your own oxygen mask, take a deep breath, and then release what has been weighing on you, or aching your heart. It doesn’t have to be anything big, you can start with a cup of coffee or tea, go sit outside in the fresh air, say “yes” to that something you’ve been wanting to do for awhile but haven’t. Whatever “it” is, give yourself permission to take that time today, even if just a breathing meditation to relax.
As always, I’m here for anyone who needs a listening ear, without judgement, only advice or resources given when asked or suggested after discussion. It takes a village, there is a lot of good in the world, and I’m grateful for the community I’m a part of and the people in it. Thank you for listening. Namaste and may you have a peaceful rest of your day.
